Says he tried pleasing everyone while his real him got buried in the grave of 'fitting in'.
The Head Digital Marketing Unit, Modickson Trust, Jacob Emmanuel Udekede has taken to social media to lament over 'not being himself' in the past few years. The post which was shared on his Facebook page, had the BMAA-winning Blogger decry how he lost being real in his pursuit to 'fit in'.
Speaking further, the Blogger PromoteNaija wept over playing the 'ignoramus game' so he wouldn't be taken for a 'Mr Know-It-All', how that he joined conversations he finds distasteful all to be a part of the people that matters - in a bid to be seen as 'belonging'. The Social Media Influencer concluded the piece by stating that, it gladdens his heart knowing he can now be himself.
