IYC National Spokesman, Comr. Ebilade Ekerefe, Reveals The Surest Way To Solve Social Problems, Says 'Establish Free Training Programs'

A couple weeks ago, the office of the National Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), led by Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, launched a project, ‘Free ICT Training (for Ijaw Youths)’ tagged ‘Operation 301 ICT Savvy Youths 2022’. The program has several packages, including programming/coding.

A couple days ago, the National Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, took to his Instagram handle to talk about the need to provide folks who depend on one with things that'll make them self-reliant, adding that it is the surest way to solving social issues.

“People forget that you’ve personal problems too! The same people you give fifty naira yesterday will be the once that will castigate you the day you’re unable to give them five naira.

“Instead of giving free money that is not even sustainable, why not use it to establish free training programs within your capacity and encourage people to learn skills that will enable them become self reliant and sufficient tomorrow?

“In my view, it is one of the surest ways to solving social problems. Let’s start small, change the narrative and make it big. E. Ekerefe".
