Free ICT Training: Keep Making Us Proud, Bayelsan Youth Tells IYC National Spokesman, Comr. Ebilade Ekerefe

 

The Facebook user made the statement in the comments of the renowned Spokesman's social media post, Pokovirtuousblog has learnt.

Last week, the office of the National Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), led by Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, launched a project, ‘Free ICT Training (for Ijaw Youths)’ tagged ‘Operation 301 ICT Savvy Youths 2022’. The program has several packages, including programming/coding.

Yesterday, the National Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, took to his Facebook profile to share a number of photos taken with the Chairman Michael Olomu Foundation, Michael Bless Olomu, even as he revealed that the Politician pledged to support the project.

"Earlier today, Hon. Michael Bless Olomu, a candidate for the fourth coming Bayelsa West Federal House of Representative elections and Chairman of the “Micheal Olomu Foundation” paid me a courtesy call to underscore the ICT center put together by my office that will offer free ICT training to interested Ijaw youths. 

"He commended my office for the initiative and pledged the support and partnership of his foundation in ensuring that the training program becomes sustainable.

"On my part, I thanked him for his show of love and commitment in youth development, while appreciating him also for his selfless contributions in the development of our society through his various interventionist projects in the rural communities.

As a crowd of his followers took to the comments to praise him, a youth identified as Osagie Yigbem, stated that he's doing Bayelsa proud.

"Keep making us proud. Nua!".
