Youth Advocate Bello Shagari, Speaks On Social Media Usage, Says 'We May Have Destroyed The Lives Of Many By Our Words Without Even Noticing'

Taking to his Twitter handle in the afternoon hours of yesterday, Nigerian Social Crusader, Muhammad Bello Bala Shagari, told his 72.5k followers that the majority of people have no idea the level of 'damage' social media has caused.

"You have no idea how many people social media has inflicted mental health problems on and many that it has led to suicide.

We may have destroyed the lives of many by our words without even noticing. 

We simply call it “vawulence” and laugh over it. It’s an actual violence".
