Taking to his verified Twitter handle Monday, June 20, Nigerian Political Economist, Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu OON, shared some thoughts with his followers about racism. Drawing an analogy from Chinese and Japanese, the Lagos-born Politician stated that if Nigeria prospers, her citizens will matter.

"Racism is caused by poverty not skin color. The Chinese and the Japanese were once called “yellow bastards” by the Caucasian west. Today the Western countries beg for their investments and tourism. If Nigeria prospers, we will matter.
