The Yarima of Shagari had in a social media post revealed that religion isn't the problem of Nigeria - followers reacted, a check by Pokovirtuousblog has shown.

Wednesday, June 1, popular Nigerian Youth Advocate, Muhammad Bello Bala Shagari, told his followers that religion is not the problem of Nigeria, adding that the citizens are to be blamed.

"People think that religion is the problem of Nigeria. I say no! We are the problem.

Just like you will agree with me that most Nigerians only pledge to be Nigerians but do not follow the constitution, the same way we are Muslims & Christians but do not follow/obey Quran & Bible".
