Wednesday, June 8, renowned Nigerian Youth Advocate cum Social Crusader, Muhammad Bello Bala Shagari, took to his verified Twitter handle to inform his 71.7k followers that democracy will never be in favour of the minority in a nation divided on tribal and regional lines.

"Democracy will never provide equity to a state divided on tribal and regional lines. Because minorities cannot get equal share of anything when it comes numbers. 

Until we do away with sentimental and go for merit, we will continue to discuss factors that are not important".
