2023 Presidency: The North/South Rotation Is A Party Arrangement Not A Government Arrangement, Says Bello Shagari

 

The Youth Advocate made the disclosure in a tweet, Pokovirtuousblog can confirm.

Our reporter learnt that a number of socio-cultural organizations, especially Ohanaeze Ndigbo, have been agitating for a rotation of the presidency to the South East in the 2023 presidential elections - many influential Nigerians are against it, insisting that it should be open to all qualified candidates, irrespective of one's geopolitical zone. 

A few hours ago, famous Nigerian Social Crusader, Muhammad Bello Bala Shagari, took to his verified Twitter handle to talk about Nigerian politics. In the missive, the Sokoto native stated that North/South rotation is a party arrangement.

"For those who don’t understand Nigerian politics as it stands today. 

The North/South rotation is a party arrangement not a government arrangement.

So for leadership to go south is for the APC, as for the PDP it is North but yet they left it open for all which is fair".
