The popular Nigerian Social Crusader had in a social media post advised politicians/loyalists to shun unwholesome behavior in their quest to succeed politically, Pokovirtuousblog can confirm.

Muhammad Bello Bala Shagari is very much passionate about politics, and has been 'working round the clock' for Nigeria's political landscape to become an exemplary one. The Yarima of Shagari who was once the President, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), produced the popular documentary, 'One Nation, One Destiny'.

Taking to his verified Facebook profile yesterday, the CEO Barcode Multimedia, stated that politics is dirty. Speaking further, the Sokoto native advised persons involved in it to endeavor not to forget their manners.

"Politics is dirty. Yes it is, and you can’t be tidy enough to succeed politically.

However, that does not mean that we should become deliberate in creating and promoting mischief especially when we want to be respectable members of the society. We shouldn’t lose ourselves, and our honor all in the name of politicking.

"Shaming people, exposing their secrets, lying against them, spreading falsehood etc.

There’s nothing wrong with promoting your belief, party or principal. There is also nothing wrong in comparing your interest to another and convincing people that yours is better. It is even okay to go as far as referencing the professional shortcomings or ineptitude of your opponents.

"But don’t lose your manners in the pursuit of any interest. After all, such desperations have never been a determinant for winning elections. Despite the accusations labeled against many of our politicians, they still win election, but your accusations whether true or not, remains an act of treachery and something you will be questioned about".
