CEO New General Africa, Daniel Ogoloma Reveals Why Some Folks Are Tormented By Poverty In Older Years

 

The Youth Advocate had in a social media post disclosed to his followers the one reason some folks are in abject poverty in their older years, a check by Pokovirtuousblog has revealed.

Daniel Ogoloma, a Nigerian-British citizen, is one high-profile youth whose influence cuts across Africa. The New Generation Africa founder who happens to be a student of Harvard University, was appointed Ambassador of Peace, Ecowas Commission Youth Council (EYC), last year.

Taking to his Instagram stories in the night hours of yesterday, the Political Activist stated that there is an explanation to why some folks are tormented by poverty in their older years: it is amassing more friends instead of mentors.

"Why are some folks tormented by poverty in their older years?

"There is one similarity across all cases, that is, they finished uni and continued to amass friends instead of mentors

"Friends are often on the same level as you. Mentors are often above you. To move to a higher level in life you need mentors not friends".
