The talented artiste behind the trending extended play, 'Son of Grace', Veezy Jay, played guest at a state-owned media outlet, Glory FM 97.1 in the morning hours of today. During the interview, the Bayelsan native spoke about 'feeling being taught' by breakout star, Omah Lay, Pokovirtuousblog monitored the radio show.
Today at about 10:30am, budding Nigerian R&B Artiste, Victor Justice better known as Veezy Jay played guest in an entertainment show, 'Made In Bayelsa' hosted by Otee & Poko Virtuous at Glory FM 97.1, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State from 10:00am to 11:00am.
During the interview session, show's host, Otee, asked the 23-year-old amazing singer about the inspiring figure in his musical career. In his response, the Creative stated that Headies-winning Artiste, Omah Lay has been his greatest source of inspiration, adding that he 'feels being taught' by the 'Understand' crooner.
"I have said it before when I went to Royal FM 95.5 that Omah Lay inspired me. Honestly, Wizkid, Davido they've been there but Omah Lay is just like he taught me music - because when I listen to Omah Lay's songs, I found that he makes everything very easy.
"Whatever he says makes sense and the vibe is there - that explains why I like the guy honestly".
Pokovirtuousblog gathered that the Afro singer visited the broadcasting corporation as part of efforts to promote his latest EP, 'Son of Grace', a 6-track musical project released Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
