We Dey Work Dey Sweat, These Ones Dey Siddon' - Singer Kel Slams Idle Ladies

A fast-rising Nigerian Singer identified as Kemelayefa Etekpe better known as Kel has taken to social media to lash out at idle women. The Okordia native who took to his social media handle yesterday and in the morning hours of today (as well) to make the statements, added a Christian scripture to buttress his point.

In the post yesterday, the independent artiste shared a photo in which two women were sitting in a stadium as if having a conversation. He added a caption that expresses his displeasure at their action.

"We dey work dey sweat. These ones they siddon".

As if his Friday's post didn't communicate his point vividly, in the morning hours of today, the graduate of Maintenance Engineering, College of Aviation Technology, Zaria shared some verses from the Christian book of 1Kings 11:1-3 - a case where Solomon's love for many women saw them sap him of his devotion to God - at the concluding part  of the  post 'The Old Life' singer asked thus, 'The problem here is what exactly?'

"11:1, but king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharoah, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zodonians and Hittites:

"11:2, of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

"11:3, And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart".

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that Kel who is also a Spoken Word Artiste and Poet, wouldn't want to leave any of his talent untapped, a source close to the Indie Rock Artise told our reporter. 'Old Life', the debut song of the singer is available on several music streaming platforms.
