Last Saturday, multi-award winning Radio Presenter cum Singer, Tari Otuogha better known as Otee played guest on the radio show 'People's Cruise' at People's FM 93.1, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The entertainment show which is hosted by Queen Chima & Princess Okoli goes live from 12:20pm to 1:20pm Saturdays.

Our reporter learnt that the Presenters started off in a rather conversational and jovial manner - as they seem to be thrilled by the songs of the talented artiste that kicked off the show. As they played series of his musical pieces, asked him to sing some of his songs, they equally asked him a few questions about his musical career too.

When asked by co-host, Queen Chima, how he started out, the Media Personality cum Rapper stated that his musical journey has roots in his pre-teen days - he likes listening to music, but was left in the dark as to how to go about making it, adding that he had a friend that wouldn't stop telling him to 'keep doing something' - as that enabled him record his first song.

"I have always loved listening to music from as early as 10. I used to watch music channels...I loved Western songs. For young people like me then, it was Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj.

"Getting an opportunity to be in a recording studio was really nice. My friend that took me there was already used to the whole thing. I used to go by the stagename Young Drel - we were just young guys and love to rap - he was urging me, 'Young Drel, do something' ".

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that the creative, Otee didn't spend more than 20 minutes on the show, but arguably left many excited. Our reporter gathered that the Nedugo native is currently studying English and Communication Studies at Federal University, Otueke. The Rapper has several songs under his belt: 'Rich & Famous' ft. Rainer; 'Goodbye Memories' ft. GrayCtee; 'Just Vibes' among others.
