A crowd of music lovers on social media has reaffirmed their love for fast-rising Nigerian Afropop Singer, Ebiegberi Gabriel better known as AFRO JC in response to a question seeking to know one's favourite artiste residing in the city of Yenagoa, Pokovirtuousblog has learnt. Although the majority of them only mentioned his name, a media personality went a step further to state how amazing a singer he is.
Saturday, June 19, 2021 a Facebook blogger with the username Yentown Egberi took to their profile to ask followers a question on who their favorite Bayelsa-based artiste is.
"Name that your favorite artiste in Bayelsa State".
Shortly after sharing the post, a lot of users hopped on the comments section to mention their fave. While some mentioned state-based up-and-coming acts like Starblink, Jovin, Demitee etc, a popular radio presenter in the city who works at People's FM 93.1 seized the opportunity to mention his favourite singer as well.
In a bid to throw light on the reason he prefers AFRO JC to others, Vincent Debekeme better known as Vin of Bayelsa stated that the 'Positive Vibe' crooner is very much underrated.
"Homeboy JC is underrated" (that is the artiste's Facebook username).

AFRO JC, 23, a native of Brass in Bayelsa State who has been described by many as 'The future of good music' seems to be tailoring his activities to that end, online search has shown. Curious to know about how he feels over the media personality's statement, our reporter sent him a message on social media.
In his response, the 'Pressure' singer stated that it gladdens his heart hearing such words of encouragement. He added that it seems the presenter believes in him or better yet loves what he heard.
"Really I felt great knowing he had only come across a few of my songs - he does believe in me, plus it seems he loves what he heard".
Pokovirtuousblog learnt that AFRO JC is fast becoming a household name in the Nigerian music industry, as his two albums have been streamed tens of thousands times on music streaming platforms. In August 2020, the Afropop Singer released his debut album, a 6-track musical project entitled 'Positive Vibration'; May 2021 he released yet another, 'Self-made', a 16-track album - this time in collaboration with Blackman PD.
