Singer Wuka Lauds DJ Donovan, Says, 'He Goes All Out For Bayelsan Artistes'

It would seem some persons are born to live for others. It wouldn't be wrong to say some individuals derive pleasure supporting people to achieve their dreams - they barely think of themselves. Given the state of Bayelsa's entertainment industry, there is need for synergy among industry stakeholders so as to improve the sector. I dare say the state's nascent industry needs a lot of 'selfless actors'.

Our reporter learnt that although the state has a plethora of hardworking Djs, it would seem a few are putting in more work than others - and in Wuka's latest post, he feels one is really working hard, but many aren't giving him the recognition he deserves, as he feels he's very much underappreciated.

Taking to his WhatsApp status yesterday, 'Love in the air' crooner, Wuka stated that DJ Donovan has been working very hard to promote artistes of Bayelsan origin over the years - even at his own expense, but that it gives him a heavy heart knowing the majority of entertainment enthusiast in the state aren't giving him the recognition he deserves. He concluded the piece by saying sometimes it isn't about money.

"What DJ Donovan does for the Bayelsan entertainment industry is highly underappreciated.

"DJ Donovan is the only DJ I know who goes all out for Bayelsan artistes selflessly. He understands the struggle and has continued to play a vital role in growing the industry. It's not always about money fam".

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that Denyefa Victor Wuka alias Wuka started making music barely two years ago, but has since become the favourite of many music lovers, in so short a time. A source close to the singer told our reporter that the DJ has been playing a vital role in the former's musical success.

Curious to know more about the celebrated DJ, our reporter made an online search, and result shows that DJ Donovan, born Deinsah Doye Donovan is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the prestigious Niger Delta University. The dude who also does graffiti painting, has several songs and mixtapes under his belt too - 80% of songs in his projects contain musical pieces by artistes of Bayelsan origin. Some of his works are: 'Rehearse Mix'; 'Vibes D.G.A.'; 'Jungle' ft. Nathan amongst others.
