Nigerian Hip-hop Artiste, Kurokemme Releases Music Video For 'No Salary'

It would be recalled that a week after the release of 'Surulere' by Nigerian Singer cum Music Producer, Demmie Vee, Bayelsan Hip-hop Artiste, Kurokemme released a cover for it entitled 'No Salary' ft. DJ Famous V of Royal FM 95.5, April 19, 2019. The musical piece which was well received by music lovers in his home state, has got a video that fans can watch even as they vibe to it.

The Izzy Black-produced cover song which is laden with valuable lessons that not only the youths would find most useful, but just about anyone looking to win at life, demonstrates the attitude of an ambitious fellow poised to become a success - how this line explains it vividly:

Listen 'No Salary' Here

"...Experience they say na the best teacher. My talent dey raw waiting for the best bidder. I no get time to dey run my mouth any step I take na to dey fund my account...".

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that fans wouldn't keep quiet over his delay releasing a video, stressing they love the song. In a bid to grant their wish the 'Na God' crooner dropped a music video for it, Monday, May 3, 2021 on his YouTube channel - and followers couldn't thank Jah Heart Production enough for an amazing video shoot.

Speaking with Pokovirtuousblog about the common thread that runs through the 3-minutes and 18-seconds long music video, the Amassoma native stated that the musical piece is not so much what many think upon hearing the title, but an encouragement to folks with an entrepreneurial spirit who don't get a paycheck each month.

"No salary video talks about every hustlers out there doing either big or petty business owner never watching for salary".

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that Kurokemme's cover 'No Salary' much like the original piece, 'Surulere' by the 29-year-old Lagos-based act, Awotungase Ademola Sodiq better known as Demmie Vee which captures the habits and lifestyle of a fellow working to eke out a living (as anyone living in Lagos especially in Surulere area knows - almost everyone is engrossed with their daily activities), shares a similar thread as well.

Our reporter learnt that Kurokemme, 31, a graduate of English and Literary Studies is not a newbie when it comes to making songs that builds society, as he has a number of such songs under his belt: 'Jembe'; 'Show Working' among others.
