Hear What AFRO JC Told Radio Presenter, IJ - No. 3 Will Leave You Speechless



Following the release of AFRO JC & Blackman PD's album 'Self-made' last Saturday, not only have fans been telling the world how much they love it, but sources close to the entertainers told our reporter that the current album has been streamed tens of thousands times. The musical project which holds a special place in the hearts of the duo was aired on Rhythm 94.7 yesterday, even as JC (Blackman was unavoidably absent) visited popular Radio Presenter, Ijeoma Mbama better known as IJ for an interview.


The program, 'Afternoon Drive' which is hosted by IJ starts from 02:00pm through 06:30pm on Rhythm FM 94.7 Yenagoa every Saturday, saw the Brass native go live at 03:00pm to talk about his new album 'Self-made'. Speaking with the famous Media Personality, JC reveals the kind of music he does, who inspires him, how he started out and many other aspects of his career - an excerpt on how he answered her:


On what kind of music he does, the Afropop Singer stated thus: 'What I call my kind of music is 'AFRO just chilling music'.


When asked who inspired him to pick up  a career in music, the 23-year-old Artiste reveals, 'Wizkid has always been my mentor. He inspired me...I was doing music just for fun, but after listening to Wizkid I got the vibe like - he made me go deep into music...'


As to how he started making music, an enthused JC disclosed, "I started with freestyle - I used to carry my hand to hit the desk all for the freestyle game".


Meanwhile our reporter observed that JC also went live on his Facebook profile during the radio interview, so his fans on social media could get a watch about what's happening in the studio. Taking to the comments section of the live video, music lovers expressed admiration over his brand even as Niger Delta music sensation, Wallzee predicted that the future is very bright.
