More Tweeps Downplays BBNaija Season 5 Housemate, Kiddwaya's Statement, 'Woke Up In Tears; Just Couldn't Sleep'

• Reality TV Star, Kiddwaya decries the current state of Nigeria.

• Tweeps deemphasizes his concern.

The current state of Nigeria is one that every citizen of the nation should be concerned about - it is so bad that one might as well wake up one day and see the nation's capital territory, Abuja having been reduced to rubbles. While the North-East battles with Boko Haram insurgency, banditry and kidnapping, in the South-West there seems to be endless bloodshed between farmers and pastoralists - and other geopolitical zones have their own challenges as well. In the face of all these, it wouldn't be out of place to state that Nigeria is sitting on a powder keg.

In view of how sordid the state of the nation has become, several entertainers have expressed worry over the nation. One such person is Big Brother Naija Season 5 Lockdown Housemate, Teerseer Kiddwaya better known as Kiddwaya who took to his Twitter handle in the morning hours of today to reveal the nightmare he had about Nigeria. In the dream, the light-skinned Reality TV Star heard the cries of victims of terrorist acts, banditry and gunmen attack, even as they were shot at. Upon waking, he revealed how he shed tears about the dream which is obviously the reality of Nigeria, adding that the nation is burning.

"Woke up in tears this morning. I just couldn't sleep. How can I? I can hear the gunshots and cries in my dream. Our nation is burning and no one is hearing us".

Upon monitoring his Twitter handle after sharing the post, our reporter gathered that tweeps downplayed on his nightmare over the nation, even as they questioned the words he used. While one said he's in for Wale Adenuga Productions Limited, that what he said is a blatant lie, others also shared their version of doubt about his post.

Ajebutter By Choice, "I woke up in tears" "I couldn't just sleep". Una go just dey lie unprovoked'; Kene, 'Oku what is this?'; Alh. Malik, 'Only one Kiddwaya, woke up,  couldn't sleep, dreamt without sleeping'; Temi of ATL, 'He said he woke up in tears, na lie. Nigeria is on a sad taste, but he definitely didn't wake up in a versace house crying in the middle of the night'; Odogwu, 'You woke up but couldn't sleep & you also dreamt. Anyway you are the only king that can't sleep but can dream and wake up. My king I stan'.

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that Teerseer Kiddwaya better known as Kiddwaya, 26, contested in the Big Brother Naija Season 5 'Lockdown' edition which premiered July 19, 2020, and was evicted alongside Prince on September 13, 2020 from the reality TV show.
