'It's A Lie Coming From The Pit Of Hell' - Hon. Ebinyo Turner Refutes Alleged Gunmen Invasion Of Ogbia Town

There were posts making the round on social media yesterday that some unknown gunmen invaded Ogbia town, our reporter has learnt. The posts which were shared by some hired mischief makers, in a recent search has since been deleted, Pokovirtuousblog can confirm.

In reaction to the incident, the Chief Press Secretary to the Ogbia Local Government Area Chairman, Akekere Jerry, in a statement made available to Pokovirtuousblog a few hours ago, quoted Turner as saying, the stories which were shared yesterday: that some unknown gunmen attacked the area - is not only pitiable, but a blatant lie from the pit of hell.

The statement further reveals that, the Chairman is very much committed to ensuring his people are safe and secure, even as he called on the traditional rulers, vigilante group, chiefs and other stakeholders to step up to the plate, assist Turner in ensuring his goal of a safe and developed LGA becomes a reality.

He states, '...the rumour that went round on social media yesterday that Ogbia Town was under attack by gunmen is not only pitiable, but a lie that is coming from the pit of hell'.
