IWD 2021: ChooseToChallenge - Fan Celebrates Internet Personality, Comr. Awudumu Reigneth, Says, 'She's Contributing Towards The Growth Of Bayelsa State'

 • Fan hails Bayelsa's top Social Media Influencer, Comr. Awudumu Reigneth.

• Heaped praises on her in view of the International Women's Day celebration.

As we celebrate the impact of women the world over, neither Nigeria nor Bayelsa is excluded. As the presidency releases a list containing the names of 50 female appointees who are diligently carrying out their duties to their father's land, we shouldn't forget the love the Governor's wife, Gloria Diri showed women today. However it is noteworthy to add that, still in Bayelsa, a social media user has chosen to extol popular Social Media Personality and Special Assistant on New Media to the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Comr. Awudumu Reigneth.

Taking to his Facebook handle a few hours ago, the user identified as Theophilus Dibiya using the photo of famed Bayelsan Socialite, Humanitarian and Internet Personality, Comr. Awudumu Reigneth, the man stated thus, 'Happy International Women's Day celebration to all the women out there, though young but are contributing their own quota towards the political growth of our dear Bayelsa state, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. Your contributions are noted'.

Pokovirtuousblog learnt that Comr. Awudumu Reigneth made it a point to use her social media influence to persuade her friends and admirers to vote for the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Douye Diri in the 2019 election. Upon his emergence as the Governor of the state, she was appointed S.A. on New Media to him.

The International Women's Day celebration was borne out of the desire to have a better life. The women of 20th century protested in a time when there was extreme female marginalization in order to put an end to acts they consider inimical to their existence. The day, March 8 was agreed to be set aside as Women's Day in 1913, and in 1975 the United Nation celebrated IWD for the first time. The theme for this year's International Women's Day celebration is 'Choose to Challenge'.
