Nigerian Rapper and CEO, iLLBLISS has taken to social media to call on people looking to succeed (in the entertainment industry) to study the life of Burna Boy. The 41-year-old 'JawonLaya' crooner who took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday, March 24 to make the statement, noted that his personality is worth studying.


In a bid to throw some light as to why people should learn from him, Oga Boss stated that although he lost out to Angelique Kidjo last year, he wouldn't give up - but persisted a bit harder. He also added that beyond artistic excellence and authenticity, his tenacity and belief should be studied.


He wrote thus on his Twitter handle, 'Beyond artistic excellence and authenticity, @burnaboy's success has to be one of the most uplifting and motivational stories of your generation. Imagine if he had given up after failing to win the first Grammy. His tenacity and belief must be studied! And then applied to life.



Pokovirtuousblog gathered that Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu better known as Burna Boy lost out to Angelique Kidjo last year, but emerged winner 2021. The 63rd Grammy Award which held Sunday, March 14 in Los Angeles saw the Port Harcourt native beat Antibalas (FU Chronicles), Bebel Gilberto (Agora), Anousha Shankar (Love Letters) and Tinariwen (Amadjar) and clinched the 'Best Global Music Album' category with his chart-topping fifth studio album, 'Twice As Tall' released in 2020.
