Nigerian Rapper, Mhisti Kay releases an extended play titled 'Son of God'.
The seven-track EP is available for download.
Awala Kariebi better known as Mhisti Kay is a Nigerian Artist of Kolokuma/Opokuma extraction in Bayelsa state. The versatile musician who holds a BSc degree in Biochemistry from the prestigious Niger Delta University, started his musical career in his teenage years. Following a burning passion to build his ambition for everything music, the artist quit nursing his aspiration of becoming a professional footballer - as he gave music a substantial portion of his time on the daily.
In a bid to advance his career, 2016 saw the Rapper release his first extended play entitled 'Everything is Alright' which comprised six songs - 'Okpari', 'Love Attention', Higher Everyday', First Things First' and 'Burst Her Brain' - These songs placed him on a pedestal in the music industry in view of how his fans accepted the EP.
Fast-forward to 2020, the Entrepreneur and Musician releases a seven-track EP titled 'Son of God'. The songs in the EP include; 'John Wick' which was produced by DMP and other tracks like; 'For Real', 'Yawa Dey', 'Glory', 'Headshot', 'Appreciation' and 'Oga Don Come' were produced by Dreamcent & Ekaz Beatz.
Speaking with Pokovirtuousblog about his musical pieces, he reveals that, the songs are a reflection of how God has been good to him. From the track, 'For Real' which narrates his mother's obsession about his becoming a success, 'Yawa Dey' which captures the evil leadership & politicians in our country nowadays to 'Appreciation' which shows gratitude to God for always standing by his side at every phase of his life, the Rapper can only admit 'Son of God'.
