Popular Bayelsan Singer, Sodapresh embarrassed by officers of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) yesterday.
Had him sit in their van as they drive around the city of Yenagoa.
BMAA-winning singer, Sodapresh has taken to social media to lament how he was mortified by SARS officers yesterday in Yenagoa, the capital city of Bayelsa. In a series of posts shared on his WhatsApp status/ Facebook page yesterday, Pokovirtuousblog gathered that, the police officers who are out to put an end to wire fraud alias 'yahoo yahoo' had to stop him (he didn't pinpoint what time it happened) to check that he isn't one.
Throwing more light, the 'Complicated' singer stated that although he told them he's an artist, it would seem they didn't believe him as they scrolled through his chats in other to verify that he isn't into the nefarious activity. After having been flunged into the van and taken around the city he was released - the singer has since taken to social media to express his displeasure at the police unit.
Meanwhile, our staff reporter observed that the singer's comment section is awash with social media users recounting how they were once ill-treated by the said police unit - Alex Panama, 'Mine I was handcuffed and beaten even at the expense of finding nufin in my fone...sorry tho, na d country we find ourselves'.
...they were just trying to do their job!
