Bisi Alimi admits in Attitude January's, Activists & Allies Issue about the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer (LGBTQ) community in Nigeria
Laments that there is so much disunity amongst them
Bisi lives fighting for the freedom of the LGBTQ community in Nigeria. It all started when he declared his gay status on a national television (NTA) in a show with Funmi Iyanda in 2004. Ever since, he's been advocating for the freedom of those who share similar sexual-orientation as his. But recently, what he discovered is that his dear aforementioned community is living in disunity - and it really hurts him
Unity is key!
