Eminent Human Right Activist, Alagoa Morris Calls For The Release Of Jones Abiri

Comrade Alagoa Morris has called on the DSS to see to the release of Jones Abiri, a Journalist and Publisher.

 He made this call following the release of 244 repentant Boko Haram insurgents to commemorate the 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
Popular Human right activist, Alagoa Morris has called on the DSS to release Jones Abiri, a Journalist and Publisher at Weekly Source. He added that the people of Bayelsa State have not known him [Jones Abiri] to be a violent person.

 On his facebook page where he made the clarion-call, he pointed out that given that 244 repentant Boko Haram insurgents were released to the Borno State Government, he pleaded that in the spirit of fairness Jones Abiri should be released - as it's almost a year since he was arrested on spurious charges.

    When court orders are disobeyed, one wonders if the government is disagreeing with itself on the same issue...
