Rivers State: 'Nyesom Wike Is Obsessed With Me _ Even In The Toilet'- Rotimi Amaechi

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi debunks Nyesom Wike's claim that he left an empty treasury for the state.

The Minister says the projects he completed are there, but that Nyesom Wike refused maintaining them since he assumed office as governor of the state.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, in an interview on Channels Television on thursday says Nyesom Wike is just being obsessed with him so much so that even in his toilet he calls his name.

Reacting to the claim that he left an empty treasury, the minister asked, 'If I indeed left an empty treasury, how would he have been able to work as a governor?'

In an attempt to help the public see what he had done, Rotimi Amaechi said, 'while he was Governor he built several primary school, employed teachers (13,000) and also hired contractors; to ensure the places are clean and conducive for learning. He also added that he can't quarrel with Nyesom Wike, stating that when he was a Speaker, he (Nyesom Wike) was a Local Government Chairman. He therefore concluded that the Rivers state governor is like a son to him _ it would be out of place to squabble with him.
