Famous gospel artist, Frank Edward disclosed that being a gospel singer is being called as a minister, and that one shouldn't see it as a business. He further noted that to succeed in the music ministry, one would need more of faith and a continued trust in God, adding that they'll eventually smile to the bank.
Speaking with Punch, the Nigerian top gospel artist urged gospel artist to realize that they are in a ministry and a divine one at that. He further pointed out that it is not an industry _ stressing that if they're out in the gospel music for the money alone they'll be disappointed.
The singer drawing inspiration from his life-story to inspire artist, said that; he never dreamt about having his song sold all over the world, but that he wanted to sing so well that, even if it's one soul that got saved would mean joy to him.
In the interview, he made it known to gospel artists that they're on a different path compared to secular artists; and that is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, hence they might be popular but still find themselves compelled to board bikes, however, he assured them that it's only for a moment as they'll surely make money in the long run.
