Report shows that this may stall further withdrawal from the account; thereby leading to non-payment of workers salaries as the governors has banked on it to help meet the december paycheck due to their workers.
Naij.com reports that the consultant who handled the disbursement of the Paris Club Refund, has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Government and its 36 states governors over non-payment of 5% consultancy fee due to him. The source further revealed that the court case is filed at the Federal High Court Abuja.
If the 5% consultancy fee due to him is paid, then workers stand a risk of not being paid their december salaries as it will stall further withdrawals from the account, and the government is relying heavily on it to pay their workers.
