Common-sense advocate for the people, Senator Ben-Murray Bruce yesterday (December 23rd 2017), took to his Facebook page to lament the financial straits civil servants on minimum-wage pass through.
Below is the post:
"How did we get to the point in the year 2017 where a Nigerian earning the minimum-wage of #18,000 cannot even fill up his fuel tank with his monthly pay.
Can't even buy a bag of rice with his salary. Can't buy a one way ticket to his hometown for Christmas with his wages. How? Why?
Meanwhile, instead of them to see reasons with, many Nigerians lashed out at the Senator; using any point that gets to their memory.
