Bayelsa State: Hope Of Having Memorable Christmas Restored As Gov.Dickson Pays Workers' December Salaries.


Governor Henry Seriake Dickson, pays civil servants December salary on receipt of the last tranche of the London-Paris club refund.

At the State Executive Council meeting, the Commissioner for Finance stated that workers will begin to receive bank alert.


The countryman Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson no doubt wishes the best for his workers this December as he expedited payment this yuletide season.

As Bayelsa received #12.447billion as its share of the London-Paris fund, from which #1.143billion was given to the eight (8) Local Government in the state; the governor declares the immediate payment of workers December salaries.

Just after the 85th State Executive Council meeting, held at the State Executive Chambers of the government house in Yenagoa, the Commissioner for Finance, Maxwell Ebibai disclosed that Bayelsa state having received such an amount, workers should begin to expect bank alert.
