Wealth Creation Now Means, Making An Offering For Selfish Customers/Consumers

"Some desire is necessary to keep life in motion; he whose real wants are
supplied, must admit those of fancy"-
Samuel Johnson

"Fortune knocks at every mans door, but in a good many cases the man is in neighbouring saloon and does not hear"-
Mark Twain

The new definition for a meteoric rise to wealth is making an offering for selfish customers. I understand that the term 'selfish' has always been used in the negative. But do you know what's up in this twenty first century?...

Every successful enterpreneur knows that, people who think about themselves a lot, so that they want to meet every iota of their needs is an ocean of wealth creation. In your niche, following your market research, from your findings so far, how many people are willing to meet their needs? ...Guess you don't _ it wasn't in the questionnaire, right? This is the singular reason why one-to-one interview is always preferred to the others; it helps you get to know your interviewee's intoto _ body language.

In the world of business, a company that is not making sales is sure on the path to go broke. If you are ambitious to make more money like me, then you'll want to make products for people who don't just need it, but love themselves so much that they are willing to buy. Make offerings for people who can pay, and you'll always have credit alert on your account. The joy of being in business is finding selfish consumers _ they will become your loyal customers if your brand can satisfy their selfish concerns maximally.

•Days I spent with Esther.

"We live in our desires..."- George Moore

A couple months ago, I travelled to Calabar ( a state in Nigeria) to visit my beloved friend, she is into the modelling industry, a look at her even from a TV screen, billboard and other medium her career places her, will attest to the fact that she spends a fortune on her body. From the few days I spent with her, there were valuable lessons I learnt from producers of articles she uses.

Fitness Coach:
she doesn't seem to trivialize her fitness exercises as she always keep to the routine and guess how much she pays him for that service? ...I won't tell you, but it costs a fortune annually.

What About Her Cosmetics And Fashion?
They are always available so that she always keep up an attractive look and appearance at all times. In a nutshell, she values her career so much so that, it has become a huge plus to manufacturers of her favourite articles.

If you are in business and you can't find the class of 'selfish' people that would patronize your brand like Esther, you may soon go out of business. This explains why to become successful in your niche/industry you must become an expert _ become an industry expert in your niche! Oh, you still love spending hours on unproductive fun activities, and you think you'll get to know your customers/consumers better to increase your ROI, right? ... Get to understand the behaviour of your niche consumers. It is understanding that will make you wealthy _ knowing what your customers need and providing a service that can give maximum satisfaction is the key to wealth creation.

So, an important question you'll want to answer is:

'How well do I know my customers attitude and how passionate are they about using my product?'

Studying consumers behaviour can never be enough, you'll have to keep an eye out through periodic market research. This explains why successful businessmen engage their brand in constant research or secure the services of research/consulting firms. Victors are not always those with the best of ideas, but the man that knows who needs the idea, and how desperate they are about it, so that he makes an offering to them.

Years ago, when I worked as a salespersonnel in a skin-care company, I encountered people who value the good idea and have a need for it, but are not selfish enough to sacrifice in order to get it; some complained of poverty. But I know they've just not been selfish enough to buy it. Getting to understand the attitude, culture and historical background of the people who needs your product can place you on a better pedestal to amass a fortune out of them. Guess you know that, the jewish people are known for dedication to purpose, as it is recorded in the Christian Greek scriptures, where paul was arrested, waiting trial, and forty men said they won't eat until they have him killed, and you know the rest of the story. The catch?

If you are in business and you can't find the class of 'selfish' people like Esther, you may soon go broke.

Making your product available to people who have a desperate passion to solve their problem when it surfaces can mean making wealth like a,b,c. Grasp my point as to what I mean by being selfish, right?

•Have you consulted with Jeff Bezos?

"If you're competitor-focused, you have to wait until there is a competitor doing something. Being customer-focused allows you to be more pioneering"-
Jeff Bezos

Every successful enterpreneur the world over knows that, your product should be targeted at consumers satisfaction, and not just that but people who place a high priority on their needs.

Say, a man likes the English-Language and he wants to be good at it because he is an English-Language Lecturer, I trust you know that he will make it a top priority to buy textbooks on the language, right? ... But on the other hand, someone who has no career in it, may not see it as a necessity to buy those materials, right? ... In other words, knowing what is a necessity to a particular population distribution and making an offering to them is leveraging on their selfishness. And producing what is not considered a necessity to the other is setting out for failure.

Over the years, as I study about Jeff Bezos I've been amazed by his love for humanity, coupled with his corporate brands that are geared to making life better for Earth's inhabitants. If you ask me what has been his gain, I'll say; influence, wealth and still counting.

Following his purchase of Washington Post in 2013, he made a remarkable statement to Post employees which reads:

'We will need to invent, which means we will need to experiment. Our touchstone will be readers, understanding what they care about _ government, local leaders, restaurant offerings, scout troops, businesses, charities, governors, sports ... I am excited and optimistic about the opportunity of invention'.

What a lovely statement! The line that touches me most is, '...our...readers care about...' He thinks about his customers, and he sure knows what his clients needs are and he goes after satisfying them. Little wonder he has been innovative and creative meeting the 'selfishness' of his clientele.

In 2007 his  on-line retail store, Amazon released the kindle, a handheld digital book reader that allowed users to buy, download, read and store their book selections. As if that was not enough, since he is always on the look out studying his clients desires and behaviour, he felt we have to do something. In December 2013, he brought on stage his experimental initiative _ 'Amazon Prime Air' which uses drone _ remote controlled machine that could perform an array of human tasks as to providing delivery services to customers, these drones are able to carry items weighing five pounds and are capable of travelling within a 10 mile distance of the company's distribution centre.

His ability to know what his customers need has always been the secret of his wealth. If you like to satisfy your clientele's selfishness, you'll live to enjoy their money.

What's more?

In October 27, 2017 Forbes published its list of world richest billionaire and he topped on the list, making him the richest man in the world with a net worth of $93.9 billion.

Dear enterpreneur, billionaire e-commerce mogul, Jeff Bezos Amazon's founder  success-story teaches one essential truth _ know your customers concern (selfishness) and leverage on it through your offering.

•Research and Leverage

"Keep building your visual library"-
Ron Monsma

So, what are you going to do dear businessman? ... Well, if you're still thinking as to what you'll have to start out with, I've got a couple thoughts to share that can help.

Research:
It is time you get to know the attitude, culture, ancestry and passion of your targeted market _ get to know their values. If you are in business and you have trouble studying your clients, you'll always top the losers list.

Leverage:
Make as much money as possible from their selfishness through your offering. A man would give all for his life _ what he perceives valuable and if left unattended to would be detrimental to him. You are  permitted to be wealthy, to the extent that you satisfy your clients desires, needs and wants. The journey to wealth begins with knowing your customers values and making an irresistible offer.

In conclusion, I trust that you're cleared with the word 'selfish' as used in this article, right?...

Know what they heartily care about (selfishness) and give them a product/service that can help them achieve it. What you'll find is the figures in your corporate account ever increasing.
